Quarter 1 Week 4

Monday

Content Objectives: Students will be able to finish and hand in their Career Cluster assignment.

Language Objectives: Students will be able to identify key vocabulary for the Career Cluster unit.

Tuesday

Content Objectives: Students will be able to finish their Discovery Education sheets.
Language Objectives: Students will be able to discuss their sheets with their peer partners.

3. Students will add logo, motto, colors and sentence explanations.

Wednesday and Thursday
Check for missing assignments.
Content Objectives: Students will be able to research agricultural commodities from each country.
Language Objectives: Students will be able to show and tell their peer partner about their flags.

Friday

Content Objectives: Students will be able to identify countries on a world map that are the largest producers of their crop.

Language Objectives: Students will be able to describe to a peer partner what are the common traits the largest producers of their crop.

1. Locate your top 10 countries on the world map.
2. Color them in and write the country name on them.
3. Find your countries on CultureGrams and find climate and land information.
4. Determine what common factors the countries have and list 3.

1. We will read the iSeek article on animal caretakers with our partner.

2. Next we will watch the iSeek video together with no volume.
We will do a quick write to list all the activities we noticed in the video.
Then we will watch the video again with the volume up.

3. Finally we will finish the reading response sheet on the back of our sheet.
